Make it for game night! This recipe was crafted to help set the theme for:

Ingredients

  • Lemon
  • Spicy bloody mary rimmer seasoning
  • 1 (14 ounce or less) can tomato juice
  • 1 ounce vodka (or liquor of your choice)
  • Hot sauce (ex. Tabasco or Frank's RedHot)
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Garnish of your choice (ex. mini gherkins, pepperette, celery)

Directions

1. Rim a glass using lemon juice and a spicy seasoning: Do this by taking a wedge of freshly cut lemon and pressing the juicy side all around the rim of the glass. Pour some seasoning mix on a shallow dish and dip the rim of the glass in the dish to coat. (You can use any spicy rimmer seasoning like chipotle, Bloody Mary, or Caesar.)

2. Fill the glass with ice and add a few dashes of hot sauce, a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, and your liquor of choice (vodka is traditional, but tequila or gin are also great). For a tasty mocktail, leave out the liquor.

3. Top off with tomato juice until glass is full.

4. Garnish with a gherkin, a pepperette, or a pickled hot pepper or bean (or all three on a cocktail pick or skewer!).
