Ingredients

Bourbon: 2 ½ ounces
Fresh mint: 6-8 leaves
Simple syrup: ½ ounces
Crushed ice
Mint sprig, for garnish

Directions

1. In a Julep cup or Collins glass, muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup.

2. Fill the glass halfway with crushed ice.

3. Pour the bourbon over the ice and stir gently.

4. Fill the rest of the glass with more crushed ice.

5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
