Ingredients

Grand Marnier (or substitute Cognac, for a more classic sidecar): 2 ounces
Cointreau (or Triple sec): ¾ ounce
Fresh lemon juice: ¾ ounce
Sugar, for the rim (optional)
Lemon wheel, for garnish

Directions

1. Rim a chilled cocktail glass with sugar (optional).

2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Grand Marnier, Cointreau, and lemon juice.

3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.

4. Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass.

5. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
